IQC provides Integrated; Independent and Impartial certification services to clients in all geographical location irrespective of the size, type and economic sector of the organization without conflict of interest of any kind whatsoever.
Impartiality of management system certification services is monitored by Certification Advisory Committee, independent of IQC management.
Management of Impartiality:
- Providing conformity assessment services without consideration for commercial, financial or decisions are not influenced by other interests or by other parties.
- Maintaining a documented policy for managing impartiality
- Identify, analyze and evaluate the risks related to conflict of interests arising from provision of certification services
- Not certifying wholly owned subsidiary within the group.
- Ensuring that residual risk is as low as reasonably acceptable.
- Providing opportunity to Certification Advisory Committee members to advice on matters affecting impartiality including openness and public perception.
- Not certifying another certification body for its quality management system.
- Not providing consultancy services, either directly or through subsidiaries
- Not providing internal audit services to certified by client
- Not marketing services linked with a consultancy organization
- Not assigning an auditor who has provided consultancy services to the client
- Initiate action to respond to any threats to its impartiality arising from the actions of other persons, bodies or organizations.
- Not using any personnel, internal or external, for certification activities with a threat to impartiality unless they can demonstrate that there is no conflict of interest.
